I initially worked in the Deposited-Silicon-Devices labs of the PV Solar Energy Unit of CIEMAT. My research was focused on the development of thin-film silicon (TFS) PV devices. IAfter that, I redirected my research towards the study of failures modes in commercial photovoltaic modules. In this new stage in the PV unit of CIEMAT, I specialized in PV module characterization: visual inspection, infrared thermography, and electroluminiscence among others techniques. Since 2020, I work as senior researcher in TECNALIA, using my experience in PV reliability on the development of algorithms for the early detection of failure modes in PV plants and the optimization of operation and maintenance (O&M) tasks in these facilities.
