Antonin Fejfar
A. Fejfar studied physical microelectronics from1981 to 1986 at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague. In 1991 he defended a CSc. (Ph.D. equivalent) thesis about the preparation of organic semiconducting thin films and then he went for a post-doctoral stay to Kyoto University, Japan (1991-93). He works at the Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences since 1994, becoming head of Department of Thin Films and Nanostructures in 2014 and deputy director of the Institute in 2017.
In his research he specializes to physics of thin films of nanostructured semiconductors for application in solar cells and photonics.
